In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
Heer Feldbluse für Offiziere). An unusual, field-modified Heer Officer’s service blouse, constructed of an off-white cotton-blended drill cloth. It features a turned-down collar which is topped by a layer of smooth green wool. The collar is flanked by tabs which are constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores, topped by silver aluminum wire insignia bisected by light yellow threaded tresses, and which measure 35 mm (w) x 65 mm (l). The shoulders are topped by boards which are constructed of white wool with rigid card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and which measure 30 mm (w) x 100 mm (l). The boards are secured in place with machine stitching at the outer edge and with pebbled buttons on the inner edge. Each cuff is rolled up and secured in place with two pieces of stitching. Four pleated pockets are set into the breasts, all closing with flaps perforated with reinforced buttonholes meeting pebbled buttons. Stitched onto the upper right breast just above the corresponding pocket is an insignia constructed of dark green wool and bearing a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle, measuring 95 mm (w) 45 mm (h). The interior is plain and unmarked. Measuring approximately 42 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 65 cm, and an overall body length of 68 cm, the base cloth demonstrates soiling and minor material fatigue consistent with period wear. This field-modified example, possibly intended for use as a summer garment, remains in an overall very fine condition.
