Germany, DRK. A Large Flag

(Deutsche Rotes Kreuz Fahne). A large and well-preserved Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross/DRK) flag, constructed of a white cotton twill base, reinforced at all four corners with machine-stitched darts and supplemental patches of material, bearing double-sided central DRK insignia executed in multi-coloured ink, the hoist edge featuring a hollow channel retaining an original rope which terminates at each end in a loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 230 cm (w) x 126 cm (h), demonstrating minor soiling throughout, in addition to some material fatigue to the corners and edges, an unusual example likely flown from at a medical or training facility in better than very fine condition.
