(Auszeichnungen und Insignien). A mixed lot of miniature awards and insignia, including:

1 An SS 8-Year Long Service Award, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised swastika with ribbed arms, oveerlaid by central Sig runes, in turn situated within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised number “8” overlaid by an inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS”), unmarked, measuring 15.54 mm in diameter, weighing 2.4 grams, in near mint condition.

2. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Gold Grade, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original bow tie-style ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, maker marked with LDO code “L/11” for Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 16.35 mm (w) x 20.90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. A government visor cap eagle, constructed of silvered tombak, the reverse retaining both original attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
