Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Shoulder Boards for Civil and Military Personnel

(Schulterklappen). A mixed lot of shoulder boards, including:

1. A matching set of Heer Flak/Artillery Enlisted ranks straps, each constructed of field-grey wool and trimmed with red piping, the reverse of each retaining an integral strap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), demonstrating some material fatigue, a late-war pair most likely applied to an M44 tunic in better than very fine condition.

2. A matching set of Reichsbahn Paygroup 11 boards, each constructed of red wool with a rigid card stock core and topped by four bands of gold bullion wire piping interspersed with dark blue threaded chevrons, both unmarked and measuring 25 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.

3. A matching set of Luftschutzpolizei boards, each constructed of dark green wool with rigid card stock core and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping surrounding a single narrow ban of dark green threaded piping, the reverse of each retaining an integral strap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole, both unmarked and measuring 25 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), in uniform-removed and extremely fine condition.
