Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of insignia, including:

1. A 1st Fallschirm-Panzer Division Hermann Göring EM/NCO’s uniform eagle, constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 76 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), demonstrating minor discolouration to the reverse, in unissued and near mint condition.

2. A government/political visor cap eagle, constructed of gilded aluminum, the reverse retaining two of three attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/34” for Karl Wurster, Markneukirchen, measuring 68 mm (w) x 34 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of gilt finish, in very fine condition.

3. A DJ/HJ edelweiss insignia, constructed of partially-gilded aluminum, the reverse marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/152” for Franz Jungwirth, Vienna, measuring 28 mm (w) x 52 mm (l), in extremely fine condition.

4. An NSDAP supporter’s Germanic folk art badge, constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised mobile swastika on a dimpled field, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 45 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
