In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Heer Tropen Schiffchen M35). A well-preserved Heer EM/NCO’s M35 tropical fieldcap, constructed of an olive-drab cotton-blended cloth. The cap is fully surrounded by fold-down side walls which scallop toward the front. The crown is flanked on each side by ventilation holes, both reinforced with metal grommets. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is an insignia consisting of a light brown rayon backer bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. Measuring 65 mm (w) x 28 mm (h) overall, the eagle is notably secured in place with factory-original hand stitching characteristic of the cap’s manufacturer. Directly below the eagle, the peak also features a machine-embroidered tri-colour cockade situated on a light brown rayon diamond backer, measuring 40 mm (w) x 40 mm (h). The interior is fully encompassed by a multi-piece red cotton liner. Stamped onto the crown is a maker’s mark of “CLEMENS WAGNER, BRAUNSCHWEIG-HAMBURG”, circumscribing a manufacture date of “MRZ. 14” (March 1942). Also visible on the crown is a size stamp of “54”. It measures approximately 27 cm (l) x 11 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface, the cap demonstrates minor material fatigue consistent with age and field use, including evidence of soutache removal, but remains in a near extremely fine condition.
