Germany, Wehrmacht. A General’s Staff Car Pennant

(Wehrmacht KFZ-Autostander für Generale). A rare and well-preserved Wehrmacht General’s staff car pennant, constructed of a field-grey cloth base, trimmed along the top and bottom edges of both the obverse and reverse with gold bullion wire tresses interspersed with mobile swastikas, bearing double-sided golden-yellow threaded Wehrmacht eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas, with details and feathering highlighted in brown threading, concealed within a non-magnetic metal frame and protected by intact and clear celluloid faces, riveted to metal stand culminating in a threaded rivet with an original nut for vehicle attachment, with an additional functional push-button release situated near the base, unmarked, the pennant measuring 39.5 cm (w) x 26 cm (h), the stand measuring 39.5 cm in total height, demonstrating some scratching to both the metal elements and and the celluloid faces, a scarce field-used example in near extremely fine condition.
