A group of period illustrations presented on paper, including two extracts from a Waffen-SS publication featuring full-colour plates depicting the insignia and uniforms of Russian Waffen-SS Flak Helpers and youth air field auxiliaries, with the reverse of each notably featuring excerpts from a wartime handwritten letter in German, discussing life in wartime conditions and notably expressing pessimism regarding the outcome for Germany, each measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.5 cm (h), a primary document in very fine condition; accompanied by a page from a Military Intelligence Research Section (M.I.R.S.) document featuring full-colour plates of the armbands worn by Waffen-SS eastern volunteers, dated 15 March 1945, measuring 20.5 cm (w) x 38.5 cm (h), demonstrating minor discoloration and tearing, in very fine condition.
