(Luftwaffe Fotos mit Unterschriften). A mixed lot of postwar signed photos of notable Luftwaffe airmen, including:
1. One depicting General Adolf Galland (fighter ace with 104 victories; recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 29 July 1940; with Oak Leaves, 24 September 1940; Diamonds, 21 June 1941; second Diamonds, 28 January 1942), featuring a reproduced image bearing an embossed Herzogenrath studio mark, situated above Galland’s handwritten signature, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2. One depicting Major Hans-Ekkehard Bob (fighter ace with 18 victories; recipient of the Luftwaffe Honour Goblet, 28 September 1940; Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, 7 March 1941; German Cross in Gold, 24 December 1942), featuring an elaborate reproduced image of Bob situated within a stylized border depicting a selection of his awards, situated above Bob’s handwritten signature, measuring 10 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
3. One depicting Hauptmann Karl-Fritz Schloßstein (fighter ace with 8 victories; recipient of the Luftwaffe Honour Goblet, 26 October 1942; German Cross in Gold, 31 March 1943), featuring a reproduced image of Schloßstein at the helm of his aircraft, overlaid by his handwritten signature, measuring 15 cm (w) x 10 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. One depicting Oberleutnant Ernst Scheufele (fighter ace with 18 victories; flew 67 escort missions for the battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz), featuring a reproduced image of Scheufele sitting atop his aircraft with a dog, overlaid by his handwritten signature, measuring 9 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
5. One depicting Oberfeldwebel Max Lagoda (reconnaissance radio operator with 161 sorties; recipient of the Luftwaffe Honour Goblet, 19 October 1942; German Cross in Gold, 17 October 1943), featuring a reproduced image of Lagoda receiving accolades after his 250th mission, situated above his handwritten signature, measuring 10 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
6. One depicting Theo Nau (fighter pilot with 3 victories and one of the Luftwaffe’s youngest operational pilots), featuring a reproduced image overlaid by Nau’s handwritten signature, the reverse bearing a handwritten signature of “DEZ. 1944, ZELLHAUSEN BEI FRANKFURT”, measuring 10 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
