(Wehrpässe). A pair of Wehrpässe to notable recipients, including:
1. One constructed of a card stock binding with 54 paginated interior pages filled with handwritten and stamped entries, named to “ANTON FUSS”, who was born on 12 May 12 May 1924, entered Wehrmacht service in 1943 with Panzergrenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon 101, who later served with Panzergrenadier-Regiment 73, and who received the Panzer Assault Badge (20 May 1944), the Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade (2 November 1944), and the Black Grade Wound Badge (13 August 1944), all for actions on the Eastern Front, retaining certified studio portrait of the bearer, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), demonstrating material fatigue including some moisture exposure and the separation of pages from the binding, a scarce example to a decorated close combat veteran in very fine condition.
2. One constructed of a card stock binding with 52 paginated interior pages filled with handwritten and stamped entries, named to “HERBERT ERNST KAACK”, who was born on 13 July 1917 in Leipzig, volunteered for Wehrmacht service in 1937, and who served with a number of Luftwaffe intelligence/reconnaissance units, including Luftgau-Nachrichten-Regiment 4, Luftgau-Nachrichten-Regiment Norwegen, and Luftgau-Nachrichten-Regiment 5, participating in the Narvik campaign, and who received the Sudetenland Medal on 26 August 1939, retaining a certified black-and-white photo of the bearer, also including two post-war prisoner of war (POW) documents issued to Kaack, measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 14.5 cm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in very fine condition.
