Description
A certificate, 4 pages, measuring 148x208mm, extremely fine condition with folding crease and two punched holes. It is an award certificate for the Reich Sports Badge in Silver to Unterarzt (junior medical officer) in the Luftwaffe Karlheinz Jacobs, born May 31, 1909. He served as Abteilungsarzt (detachment medical officer) of the Staff of Light Flak Detachment 826.
The certificate contains the five different categories in which Jacobs had to pass a test. The admission is signed in pencil by a Senior Lieutenant and Orderly Officer, the name is indecipherable. The badge was awarded in Berlin on March 8, 1943 and carries a facsimile of Reich Sport Leader Hans von Tschammer und Osten (1887–1943), ca. 2 weeks before his death.
