(Kriegsmarine Verleihungsurkunden). A mixed lot of four Kriegsmarine award documents named to Reinhold Klose, consisting of:
1. A rare document for a Memel Medal, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named to Klose as a Matrosengefreiter, indicating that he was born on 21 December 1915 and was resident or stationed in Schleswig, issued in Berlin on 26 October 1939, featuring a facsimile signature of Otto Meissner, measuring 210 mm (w) x 296 mm (h), with folding creases and minor discoloration evident, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A document for a Minesweeper War Badge, constructed of off-white paper with black ink, named to Klose as a Bootsmannsmat of 2. Sperrbrecherflottille (2nd Minesweeper Flotilla), issued at staff headquarters on 1 June 1941, featuring the handwritten signature of a Korvettenkapitän and stand-in commander of 3. Sicherungs-Division, measuring 138 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), with minor discolouration evident, in near extremely fine condition.
3. A document for a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of off-white paper stock with black and blue ink, named to Klose as a Bootsmannsmaat, with a Feldpost number then assigned to 2. Sperrbrecherflottille, issued at sea on 7 July 1941, featuring the handwritten signature of an unidentified Korvettenkapitän, measuring 141 mm (w) x 201 mm (h), with a folding crease visible, in near extremely fine condition.
4. A document for a 1939 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of off-white paper with black and blue ink, named to Klose as a Bootsmannsmaat, issued at staff headquarters on 26 July 1941, featuring the handwritten signature of then-Kapitän Friedrich Ruge (Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross, 21 October 1940), measuring 140 mm (w) x 198 mm (h), with a folding crease visible, in near extremely fine condition.
5. A Kriegsmarine white uniform Signals badge, constructed of white cotton, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered dark blue lightning bolt, unmarked, measuring 60 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition
. 6. A small wartime photo of Klose, in uniform and with the Minesweeper War Badge clearly visible, the reverse bearing a partially-legible studio mark, measuring 65 mm (w) x 80 mm (h), in very fine condition.
