(Auszeichnungnen). A mixed lot of service and merit awards, including:
1. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.25 mm in diameter, weighing 16.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
2. A master marksman award, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the reverse double-stamped with a silver content number of “800” and the logos of P. Brandt, in addition to a crown and crescent moon indicating German manufacture and an inscription of “HANDARBEIT” (“HAND-MADE”), measuring 54.38 mm (w) x 56.21 mm (h), weighing 21.5 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Federal Republic-period German Sports Shooting Badge, Gold Grade, constructed of gilded bronze, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened catch, the reverse maker marked “ST. & L. LÜDENSCHEID” for the firm of Steinhauer & Lück, measuring 40.39 mm (w) x 53.69 mm (h), weighing 19.2 grams, in near mint condition.
