(Standschützenverband Tirol-Vorarlberg Abzeichen). A mixed lot of Tyrolean Marksmanship Badges, including:
1 A 1943 Gau Achievement Badge for Pistol Shooting, constructed of a bronzed zink alloy with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse bearing a central raised Tyrolean eagle clutching a bullseye target overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by a date of “1943”, above an inscription of “PISTOLE”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, with minor flecking of enamels evident, in extremely fine condition.
2. A 1940 Gau Achievement Badge, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, the obverse bearing a central raised Tyrolean eagle clutching a bullseye target overlaid by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “STANDSCHÜTZENVERBAND TIROL-VORARLBERG 1940”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked “C. POELLATH, SCHROBENHAUSEN”, measuring 24 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
3. A 1942 Gau Master Shooting Badge, constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 24 mm in diameter, with loss of finish evident throughout, in very fine condition.
