1942 Pattern: Buckle in brass on the right end, unmarked, illustrating a left-facing spread-winged eagle clenching a wreathed swastika in its talons, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, the buckle measuring 47.5 mm. Brocade dress belt in fine aluminum wire with two rows of very dark blue embroidery on the upper, interlaced with white threading, black wool sides and underside, gilt aluminum receiving clip on the left end, smooth finished dark gray leather tab stitched in place on the underside on the left end, the tab with eight rows of two holes each for length adjustment, two sliders on the belt with matching uppers and undersides to that of the belt, one with a tab in black wool, the belt measuring 45 mm x 1,010 mm. Fraying evident along the bottom edge of the aluminum wire upper, light soiling and scuffing evident on the upper of the dark gray leather tab where it is stitched to the body of the belt. Near extremely fine.
