Description

(HJ Gürtelschnalle für Mannschaften). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a raised HJ-style German national eagle, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/55” for Julius Kremp, Lüdenscheid, with the roller retaining a fully-intact HJ-issue RZM label, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), an unissued example retrieved from a hoard of Kremp-manufactured buckles discovered in Austria, in near mint condition.
