1. A Gold Grade award, first pattern, constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath with scalloped edges, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 37.82 mm (w) x 43.13 mm (h), weighing 8.4 grams, a quintessential example of an early variation commonly issued to Condor Legion personnel in near extremely fine condition.

2. A Black Grade award, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a clip hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “107” for Carl Wild, Hamburg, measuring 36.93 mm (w) x 44.26 mm (h), weighing 10.3 grams, demonstrating minor surface oxidation, in near extremely fine condition.
