Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of badges, including:

1  A Close Combat Clasp, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a crossed bayonet and stick grenade situated above a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four rays and four oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Funcke & Brüninghaus, Lüdenscheid, measuring 97.96 mm (w) x 26.67 mm (h), weighing 34.4 grams, demonstrating loss of finish in addition to moderate zink pest throughout the base metal, retaining the remnants of an original cellophane wrapper, in fair condition.

2. A Heer Flak Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge situated within a crimped circular base, with a vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 44.80 mm (w) x 60.22 mm (h), weighing 28.0 grams, demonstrating loss of finish in addition to moderate zink pest throughout the base metal, in fair condition.

3. A Coastal Artillery War Badge, constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central depiction of a coastal artillery gun with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a crimped base, maker marked with the logo of Hermann Aurich, Dresden, measuring 41.67 mm (w) x 54.33 mm (h), weighing 24.4 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout, in very fine condition.
