1 A War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 52.52 mm (w) x 52.65 mm (h), weighing 21.0 grams, in near mint condition.
2. A Customs Service Decoration, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon pinned with device and featuring a horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated atop a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IM ZOLLGRENZSCHUTZ” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN BORDER PROTECTION”), unmarked, measuring 42.71 mm (w) x 47.44 mm (h), weighing 24.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near mint condition.
3. A matching ribbon bar, featuring both decorations affixed to a 50 mm-long magnetic metal core with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, a rare combination in extremely fine condition.
