A Kreisleiter vehicle pennant banner, of multi-piece construction, consisting of four equal panels of triangular white and dark brown wool/rayon blended cloth, securely stitched into a square with points meeting in the centre, the obverse bearing a central hand-embroidered gold bullion flat wire NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by Fraktur letters “KL” (Kreisleiter) of identical construction, the reverse retaining a white cotton/rayon twill liner, unmarked, measuring 23.5 cm (w) x 23 cm (h), minor fatigue is visible in the form of sporadic holes to the base cloth (possibly consistent with mothing) is visible, in addition to moderate soiling throughout, a storied example configured according to transitional regulations in effect between 1940 and 1941 and removed from its original metal fender frame, in very fine condition.
