Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised emblem of the 12th SS Panzer Division HJ, circumscribed by name, the reverse bearing a central raised emblem of the LSSAH, circumscribed by name, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt insignia, the interior with a padded white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing a gilt coat of arms, with a fitted maroon velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, measuring 75 mm (w) x 75 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), a veterans reunion commemorative piece in extremely fine condition.
