(Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes, Museumsstück). Constructed of neusilber, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened zink alloy core situated within a ribbed and silvered frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm culminating in an integral loop and suspension ring retaining a period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 48.32 mm (w) x 54.32 mm (h), weighing 27.2 grams (inclusive of ring), accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a fitted black felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 145 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to the core, an early and fine-quality exhibition example in overall extremely fine condition.
