Description

(Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen für Ausländer). Instituted 25 June 1902 by Grand Duke WIlhelm Ernst. (1902-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst, the edge stamped with a mark of “SILBER” and content number of “990”, measuring 36.00 mm in diameter, weighing 24.4 grams, demonstrating evidence of polishing and some edge nicks, in near extremely fine condition.
