A Prussian General Honour Medal, Type IV, constructed of partially-gilded silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central gilded medallion, overlaid by a raised inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”), the reverse bearing a central gilded medallion, overlaid by a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the six o’clock arm maker marked with the logo of Johann Wagner & Sohn Berlin, measuring 39.59 mm (w) x 43.68 mm (h), weighing 13.5 grams, demonstration age-appropriate tarnishing throughout, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A Mecklenburg-Strelitz War Service Cross, II Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed, the obverse bearing a central wreathed monogram of Grand Duke Adolph Friedrich, the six o’clock arm bearing a date of “1914”, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “TAPFER UND TREU” (“BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”), unmarked, measuring 40.72 mm (w) x 44.57 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams, demonstrating age-appropriate tarnishing throughout, in better than very fine condition.
