1. A Baden Merit Medal, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), unmarked, measuring 38.43 mm in diameter, weighing 21.8 grams, demonstrating loss of finish throughout, a wartime example in very fine condition.
2. A Baden Memorial Medal for 1849, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 31.22 mm in diameter, weighing 22.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Braunschweig War Merit Cross, II Class for Combatants, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central monogram of Duke Ernst August, flanked by clusters of oak leaves, the six o’clock arm bearing an institution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm bearing a royal crown, the reverse bearing an inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST IM KREIGE” (“FOR MERIT IN WAR”), unmarked, measuring 30.21 mm (w) x 33.46 mm (h), weighing 9.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
4. A Saxon Friedrich August Medal in Bronze, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, situated within a circular laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE”, surrounded by floral imagery, unmarked, measuring 28.55 mm in diameter, weighing 12.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition.
5. A Württemberg Military Merit Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of King Wilhelm II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR TAPFERKEIT UND TREUE” (“FOR BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”), unmarked, measuring 28.28 mm in diameter, weighing 13.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
