(Roter Adler Orden, Miniaturen). A pair of Red Eagle Order miniatures, including:

1. A III Class Cross, constructed of 14k Gold with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée with white enameled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a hand-painted red Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a gilt monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve o’clock arm topped by an integral loop with a suspension ring emanating from a unique Gold and enameled bow tie-style ribbon, unmarked, the cross measuring 13.86 mm (w) x 16.35 mm (h), weighing 2.1 grams, demonstrating minor flecking and scratching to the enamels in addition to a chip to the reverse nine o’clock arm, in very fine condition.

2. A IV Class Cross, constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a hand-painted red Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve o’clock arm topped by an integral loop and suspension ring, unmarked, measuring 15.98 mm (w) x 18.62 mm (h), weighing 2.1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
