Description

(Reichskriegsflagge Wimpel). Constructed of a white rayon base, bearing a double-sided printed Reichskriegsflagge (Imperial War Flag) in the form of a black Nordic Cross, defaced by a central crowned German eagle clutching a sword and orb, with the upper hoist corner consisting of an black, white, and red tri-colour overlaid by an Iron Cross, reinforced along all three edges with stitching, the hoist edge featuring a hollow channel through which is looped a metal bar which retains a suspension thread as originally configured for display, demonstrating minor soiling, in near extremely fine condition.
