Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the exterior featuring a tinted facsimile portrait of Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg, situated within a hand-applied gilded laurel wreath, in turn surrounded by laurel and oak leaf branches of identical application, with gilded tresses surrounding the upper and lower edges, featuring a protruding handle with a thumbpiece sitting above the rim and with a pebbled exterior neatly finished in gilt, the base maker marked with the logo of the Royal Porcelain Factory, Berlin, along with an Iron Cross indicating sale as part of a fundraising effort for the First World War, measuring 10.5 cm (w) (inclusive of handle) x 12 cm (h) (inclusive of handle and thumbpiece), demonstrating not notable chips or cracks, in extremely fine condition.
