A seven place medal bar consisting of: a1914 Iron Cross II Class, (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 II. Klasse). Reinstituted 5 August 1914. (1914-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, indistinguishable maker mark on suspension ring with black and white ribbon, measuring 42.66 mm (w) x 43.12 mm (h); .
An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, (Ehrenkreuz des Weltkriegs 1914/1918). An iron cross paty constructed of a bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears the dates “1914 1918” encompassed by an open top oak leaf wreath tied with a ribbon at the bottom, two upwards facing crossed swords sit in the quadrants between the arms, the reverse is plain, on a red, white and black ribbon, measuring 37.60 mm (w) x 37.48 mm (h);
A 25-Year Wehrmacht Long Service Cross, I Class, A straight-armed cross paty constructed of magnetic gilded metal, the obverse centre bears a Wehrmacht style national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a swastika in its talons, the reverse centre bears a “25”, the backgrounds and arms are pebbled, on a blue ribbon with a gilded non-magnetic metal Wehrmacht long service eagle clasp, measuring 40.21 mm (w) x 39.98 mm (h);
A Wehrmacht 12-Year Long Service Award, (Wehrmacht Dienstauszeichnung). A circular medal constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the obverse centre bears Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika circumscribed by inscription “Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht” (Faithful Service in the Wehrmacht), the reverse bears a raised number “12” inside of an oak leaf wreath, on a blue ribbon with a gilded non-magnetic metal Wehrmacht long service eagle clasp, measuring 30.02 mm;
A Sudetenland Campaign Medal, (Sudetenland-Medaille). A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears two raised figures, one clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bears a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1939”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER), on a red, black and white ribbon, measuring 31.97 mm;
An Austrian War Commemorative Medal, (Kriegserinnerungsmedaille). A circular bronze medal, the obverse depicting an Austrian eagle supported on an Austrian coat of arms, circumscribed “FÜR ÖSTERREICH” (Germany - For Austria), the reverse dated “1914-1918” within an oak wreath, on a red and white ribbon with sword clasp, measuring 35.96 mm;
A Hungarian First World War Commemorative Medal, (Magyar Háborús Emlékérem). Instituted on 26 May 1929. A circular, silver medal, the obverse centre presents the coat of arms of Hungary decorated with the Hungarian Holy Crown, over a pair of crossed swords, surrounded by a laurel wreath on the left and an oak leaf wreath on the right, the reverse centre presents a military steel helmet above the years 1914-1918, surmounted by the inscription PRO DEO ET PATRIA (GOD AND COUNTRY), with palm branch tied with a ribbon below, on a white and red ribbon, measuring 36 mm; on a metal backer with a grey felt on the back with a horizontal pinback, total length measuring 180 mm, very fine.
