United Forces German Imperial and Austro-Hungarian Empire Badge: in silver with red, white, black, green and yellow enamels, assay office marked twice with an "A" (Vienna) and maker marked "K.L." on the pin, illustrating two flagpoles, each with a flowing ribbon banner, the German one at the left and bearing an Iron Cross, the Austro-Hungarian one at the right bearing the two-headed eagle coat-of-arms, with the Austrian coat-of-arms between the flagpoles and surmounted by the Austrian crown, measuring 43.5 mm (w) x 34.3 mm (h), horizontal pinback.

2. Austrian Two-Headed Eagle Coat-of-Arms Badge: three-piece construction, in silver with red, black and blue enamels, illustrating the two-headed Austrian eagle coat-of-arms, mounted to a mesh screen in the voided area, surrounded by a wide blue circular frame, museum marked on the reverse, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, horizontal pinback.
