1. Commemorative War Medal 1848-1850 (Krigsmindenmedaille 1848-1850). Instituted in 1875. In silver, dated "1848-1850" on the reverse, engraver marked "ALPHÉE DUBOIS" on the obverse, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, pitted, replacement ribbon,

2. Commemorative War Medal 1864 (Krigsmindenmedaille 1864). Instituted in 1875. In bronze, dated "1864" on the reverse, engraver marked "ALPHÉE DUBOIS" on the obverse, measuring 30.5 mm in diameter, light surface wear, original ribbon.

Footnote: The Commemorative War Medal was established on June 10, 1875 by King Christian IX and was awarded to recognize veterans of the Army and Navy who participated in the war for the homeland in 1848-1850, or 1864, and who were still alive in 1876. Three versions were created in recognition of these wars: one for the 1848-1850 participants of the war, one for the 1864 participants of the war, and one for individuals who participated in both wars with both 1848-1850 and 1860 dates.
