Description
(Řád Bílého lva). Instituted in 1922. Multi-piece construction, in silver presenting a five armed decoration in red enamels with ball finials and a silver leaf between each quadrant, the obverse presents a rampant left facing crowned lion, the reverse presents a different Czechoslovakian symbol on each arm in multicoloured enamels and the inscription CSR in the center with a silver surrounding ring inscribed PRAVDA VITEZI, surmounted by a wreath with crossed palms denoting civil division, measures 44.10mm (w) x 63.75mm (h – inclusive of wreath suspension and integral ring), weighs 24.8 grams (including ribbon), maker marked KK (Karnet & Kysely) and 900 on ring, worn on original ribbon, enamels intact, scattered silver wear, overall extremely fine condition.
Contained in original case of issue, red pebbled exterior with Czech lion on the lid, interior lid marked KARNET & KYSELY PRAHA, with a dark blue velvet medal bed, measures 75 mm (w) x 140 mm (h) x 25 mm (d), hinge and clasp functional, light wear, very fine.
