Czechoslovakia, Republic. A Volunteer Cross (1918-19) & an Artillery Proficiency Badge I. Class

A lot of two Czechoslovakian medals and awards, consisting of:

1. (Pamětní odznak Čs. dobrovolce z let). Instituted in late 1938. A bronze Cross Pattée with straight arms, the obverse with an integral central shield bearing a rampant lion bearing a Czechoslovakian crest, the reverse centrally inscribed and dated “1918” and “1919”, on a fixed loop and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon with dual pins at the ends for attachment to a uniform, measuring 35.3 mm (w) x 35.4 mm (l), in better than fine condition.

2. An Artillery Proficiency Badge I. Class, two-piece construction of bronze and silvered bronze, the obverse with a central badge depicting a pair of crossed cannon barrels with cannon balls at the base, the reverse with all three prongs intact with a clip for attachment to a uniform, measuring 46.9 mm in diameter, in better than fine condition.
