Croatia, Republic. An Order of the Croatian Trefoil, Knight in Case

(Red hrvatskog trolista). Instituted in 1995. In bronze gilt with white enamels, number engraved "06595" on the reverse, measuring 43 mm (w) x 46.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, light contact and gilt wear evident on the obverse, on its original reinforced triangular ribbon with pinback, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its Miniature in bronze gilt with white enamels, measuring 18.5 mm (w) x 20.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, original reinforced ribbon with vertical pinback, and its 35.8 mm (w) x 13.5 mm (h) ribbon bar with order clasp, in their maroon plastic case of issue, marked with the Republic of Croatia coat-of-arms and inscribed "REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA" in gold-coloured ink on the lid, inscribed "RED HRVATSKOG TROLISTA" in gold-coloured ink on the inside lid, raised platform with the medal bed in white felt and incorporating recessed areas for the badge, miniature and ribbon bar, case extremely  fine.

Footnote: The Order of the Croatian Trefoil is the sixteenth most important medal given by the Republic of Croatia. The order was founded on April 1, 1995 and is awarded for excellence in war, direct war danger or in extraordinary circumstances in peacetime.
