Croatia, Independent State of Croatia (NDH). A Set of Three Award Documents

1. (Kolajna Poglavnika Ante Pavelića za hrabrost, brončanu) Poglavnik Ante Pavelić Medal for Bravery, Bronze.  Large-format conferment document headed “Ime Hrvatskoga Naroda / Poglavnik Nezavisne Države Hrvatske…”, decree number 41795-HR-1945, awarding text for the bronze grade. Dated 5 April 1945 — an exceptionally late issue made less than one month before the collapse of the Independent State of Croatia, reflecting the regime’s final phase of military awards during the closing battles of WWII. “Dano u glavnom gradu Zagrebu.” Printed line “MINISTAR ORUŽANIH SNAGA, VICE-ADMIRAL:” with ink signature of Vice Admiral Stjepan Peričić, Minister of Armed Forces of the NDH from 1944–1945. Accompanied by the matching printed title leaf “Kolajna Poglavnika Ante Pavelića za hrabrost – 10. IV. 1941” beneath the NDH shield device.

2. (Kolajna Krune Kralja Zvonimira, željeznu, na ratnoj vrpci) Crown of King Zvonimir Medal, Iron, on War Ribbon. Conferment document with decree number 14568-Zv.Kol-1944. Lower left blind-embossed state seal of the NDH; printed line “MINISTAR ORUŽANIH SNAGA, DOADMIRAL:” with ink signature of Rear Admiral Đuro Jakčin, who served in the upper naval command and signed awards in an acting ministerial capacity during 1944. With the matching printed title leaf “Kolajna krune Kralja Zvonimira.”

3. (Kolajna Krune Kralja Zvonimira, brončanu s hrastovim grančicama) Crown of King Zvonimir Medal, Bronze with Oak Branches. Conferment document with decree number 14423-Zv.Kol-1944. Lower left blind-embossed state seal; printed line “MINISTAR ORUŽANIH SNAGA, DOADMIRAL:” with ink signature of Rear Admiral Đuro Jakčin. With the matching printed title leaf “Kolajna krune Kralja Zvonimira.”

Light handling and edge toning throughout, minor scattered foxing, embossed seals and typography crisp. Very fine.
