Bulgaria, Kingdom. An Order of Military Merit, IV Class

Instituted May 18, 1900. A IV Class decoration, in bronze gilt, a red enamelled cross with two crossed swords, the obverse medallion features a white enamelled insignia, surrounded by a green enamelled ring inscribed 3А ВОЕННА 3АСЛУГА, the reverse medallion with a rampant lion with 2 АВГУСТЪ 1891 inscribed in a green ring, surmounted by a princely crown with internal red cap, worn on a triangular ribbon with large central rosette, measures 50.55 mm (w) x 76.25 mm (h - inclusive of crown suspension), weighs 36.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), slight enamel damage to arms, scattered gilt wear, the suspension has been repaired between the 12 o’clock arm and the crown, in very fine condition.
