Bulgaria, Kingdom. A Spanish Made Order of St. Alexander, III Class Commander, by Cejalv, c.1940

Орден "Свети Александър". Instituted in 1881.  Type II with Imperial Crown. Of Spanish Manufacture,iIn silver, a green enamelled cross pattee, the obverse medallion featuring a rampant lion on a red enamel field, surrounded by a white enamel ring inscribed СБ. НАМИ БОГЪ, reverse medallion plain, surmounted by a princely crown with interior red enamelled cap, measures 50.2 mm (w) x 92.5 mm (h), weighs 70.25 grams, worn on red neck ribbon, dark silver, enamels intact, very fine condition. 

Accompanied in a case of issue, a superimposed gilt crown on the lid, the interior with a black velvet lid, the silk lid bearing the Cejalvo MADRID, measures 115mm (w) x 175mm (h) x 35mm (d), hinge and clasp functional, in very fine condition.
