A group of seven Imperial Austrian medals, including a Silver Bravery Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “DER TAPFERKEIT” (“FOR BRAVERY”) within a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, unmarked, measuring 39.80 mm in diameter, weighing 33.0 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
A Bronze Bravery Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “DER TAPFERKEIT” (“FOR BRAVERY”) within a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, unmarked, measuring 31.34 mm in diameter, weighing 17.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition.
A Franz Joseph I 60th Jubilee Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Cross Pattée, with laurel branches through the quadrants, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I, the reverse with central dates “1848-1908”, the twelve o’clock arm with an integral loop connecting to a period original tri-fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 36.03 mm (w) x 41.91 mm (h), weighing 32.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
