In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Footnote: Hans Schwathe (born: May 28, 1870 in Strachwitzthal, Austrian Silesia, died: October 27, 1950 in Vienna, aged 80) was an Austrian sculptor and medalist. He attended the Silesian State College from 1887-1890 for stone processing in Saubsdorf, the specialist school director Eduard Zelenka training him as a stonemason, in the specialized field of marble processing. He then studied until 1898 at the Imperial School of Applied Arts of the Imperial Austrian Museum of Art and Industry in Vienna with Otto King and August Kuehne.
