A group of five Imperial Austrian badges and medals, including a War Commemorative Medal of 1864, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with the monograms of Franz Joseph I and Kaiser Wilhelm I, the reverse with an inscription of “UNSEREN TAPFEREN KRIEGERN 1864” (“OUR BRAVE WARRIORS 1864”), the edge with an inscription of “AUS EROBERTEM GESCHUETZ” (“FROM CAPTURED CANNON”), unmarked, measuring 29.28 mm in diameter, weighing 17.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
A Franz Joseph I 60th Jubilee Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I, the reverse with dates “1848-1908”, unmarked, measuring 36.19 mm (w) x 41.52 mm (h), weighing 28.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
A Bravery Medal in Bronze, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon with an unetched campaign clasp, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Charles I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FORTITUDINI” (“BRAVERY”) inside of a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, the obverse maker marked “KAUTSCH”, measuring 31.45 mm in diameter, weighing 21.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
