Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Rank Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of rank insignia, including:

1. A Luftwaffe Gefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire tresse, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), demonstrating some mothing, in very fine condition.

2. A Luftwaffe Obergefreiter sleeve insignia, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing two silver aluminum wire chevrons bisected by a dark grey threaded tresse, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

3. A matching set of German Red Cross (DRK) Wachtführer shoulder boards, each constructed of light grey wool with rigid card stock cores and topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, both unmarked and measuring 20 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), accompanied by an original paper package, one board demonstrating some mothing to the wool, in better than very fine condition.

4. Two pips, each constructed of gilded brass, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
