1. Vatican: Benemerenti Medal, II Class Silver Grade, Type III (Pope Leo XIII: 1878-1903) (Medaglia Benemerenti). Instituted in 1878, this version in 1888 (in silver, measuring 28 mm (w) x 32 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, contact marks, original civil ribbon).
2. Vatican: Pope Pius XI (1922-1939) Eleventh Year Congress Medal 1932 (in silver, obverse illustrating the right-facing bust of Pope Pius XI and inscribed "PIVS. XI. PONTIFEX. MAXIMUS. ANNO. XI.", issued in the eleventh year of his reign (1932) and engraver marked "MISTRVZZI" (Aurelio Mistruzzi), reverse illustrating a wing of the Vatican and inscribed "CELEBERRIMIS. PICTVRIS. VATICANIS. APTA. SEDES. A. FVND. EXCCITATA", measuring 43.5 mm in diameter, light contact).
