Four-piece construction, in silver, silver gilt and enamels, presenting a large silver gilt eagle with the Romanian enamelled crest on its chest, atop an oak and laurel wreath, surmounting crown at 12 o’clock, the reverse bears a single vertical pin, marked 0.935 on the reverse and pin, measures 45.6 mm (w) x 75.4 mm (h), enamels intact, very fine.
Contained in its original case of issue, a brown leatherette exterior, interior lid marked ECHIP AMENTUL MILITAR BUCAREST 2. Str MIHAI VODA, blue velvet bed, measures 75 mm (w) x 100 mm (h) x 32 mm (d), light wear, functional clasp and hinge, extremely fine.
