In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
There are very few surviving examples of the Adrian helmets issued to Polish volunteers, and an officer's version must be considered scarce. Constructed of a steel shell and painted in field grey, the crown features a raised die-stamped magnetic metal comb secured in place with rivets fastened at the three, six, nine, and twelve o’clock positions, fastened to the peak of the helmet is the standard "RF", however, this has had the possibly unique addition of a silvered Polish Eagle overlay, the eagle measures 30.33 mm wide and 38.12 mm in height, the lower portion of the shell flares into an outward brim, an intact black leather liner, which bears six integrated flaps, each perforated with an eyelet, overall the helmet shows signs of age and period wear consistent with wartime use, including scratching, denting, loss of paint on the exterior of the helmet, and wear to the leather interior. A rare and highly desirable example, possibly unique.
Footnote: During the First World War the French equipped Polish volunteers with French equipment including Model 1915 Adrian style helmets. These were fitted with pressed metal badges following the pattern of French chasseurs units, but with a Polish eagle in the center of the disk rather than “RF.”
