1. (Kinshi Kunshō). Instituted February 12th, 1890. In silver, the obverse depicting a gilt Kite above crossed ancient shields with two crossed spears and banners, on a horizontally pierced ball and swivel ring for suspension from its period original ribbon featuring a hook and loop on the reverse for secure attachment to a uniform, unmarked, measuring 43.2 mm (w) x 56.4 mm (l), with wear to reverse, in case of issue;
2. (瑞宝章). Instituted in 1888 by Emperor Meiji. 1888-2003 issue. A four-armed cross constructed of silver gilt, featuring clusters of five silver-framed rays in each arm, the obverse exhibiting a central silver Yata Mirror, legendary Japanese symbol of purity, on an enameled blue background, surrounded by 16 connected red cabochon glasses, representing the legendary Yasakani jewels, plain reverse with typical Order’s Japanese characters, measuring 43.29 mm (w) x 47.93 mm (h - inclusive of ball suspension), light contact, on original triangular class ribbon with rosette, original case of issue with loose hinge;
3. Japanese National Railways (JNR) Service Award Badge, in silver featuring a gilt and enameled train wheel at centre, reverse marked and with pin, in case of issue; extremely fine as a lot.
