(Brustadler und Medaille). A mixed lot of items, including:
1. A Heer Officer’s breast eagle, constructed of a black cotton twill base, the obverse bearing a hand-embroidered silver aluminum wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) 40 mm (h), demonstrating near-total loss of its original green wool base and some material fatigue throughout the wire, a uniform-removed example in fair condition.
2. A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s M43-style cap insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Totenkopf with sutures and details highlighted in black threading, topped by an SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika of identical construction, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), a Dachau-style insignia in unissued and mint condition.
3. A Civil Service 25-Year Faithful Service Award, constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular oak leaf wreath, the obverse bearing a central black enameled swastika, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE”), unmarked, measuring 41.01 mm (w) x 45.74 mm (h), weighing 22.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
