A lovely Grand Officer Set, the neck badge in silver gilt, featuring an eight point star with ornate detailing and raised center representing an Ethiopian crown, the reverse plain, crown suspension, measures 67.6 mm (w) x 71.8 mm (h), weighs 38.64 grams, worn on original neck ribbon with ties, in extremely fine condition.
The Star of the Order, in silver gilt, an eight point star with ornate detailing and raised center representing an Ethiopian crown, the reverse bears a single vertical pin, measures 80.7 mm (w) x 82.0 mm (h), weighs 46.4 grams, hinge and clasp functional, remains in extremely fine condition.
Contained in a red leatherette case, lid marked IMPERO DI ETIOPIA, the interior is maker marked CRAVANZOLA, measures 106 mm (w) x 232 mm (h) x 33 mm (d), minor discolouration, functional hinge and clasp, in near extremely fine condition.
