For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
In aluminum with red, yellow, green and black, illustrating a soldier raised a gun to fight, the North Vietnamese flag bearing a yellow star on a red field, the flag inscribed "Decisive Battle, Victory" in Vietnamese, mountains in the background surmounted by the inscription in Vietnamese "Spring 1954", measuring 33 mm (w) x 30.5 mm (h), pinback, very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The badge was a reward issued by the Government of North Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, to the officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign against French forces in the First Indochina War, from March 13 to May 7, 1954. Many people still preserve and wear the badge on their chest during important holidays. That noble badge was drawn and designed by artist Nguyen Bich and artist Mai Van Hien, right before the Dien Bien Phu campaign was over. General Vo Nguyen Giap was the one who came up with the idea of the badge and required a symbolic emblem for the spirit of the campaign, "to cheer and improve the morale and determination of its soldiers".
