China. A Lot of Three Medals & Awards

A lot of three medals and awards, consisting of:

1. A Cased North Korean Military Merit Medal (Kun’gong Medal). Type I. Instituted June 13th, 1949. A round medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse illustrating a rightward-facing soldier in a greatcoat bearing a rifle, the North Korean flag and a radiant sun rising in the distance behind him, the reverse with the inscription “Military Merit” in korean, measuring 32.8 mm in diameter, weighing 23.51 grams. Accompanied by a cardstock box, in overall better than extremely fine condition. 

2. A North Vietnamese Ho Chi Minh Campaign Badge, constructed of gilded bronze and multi-coloured paint, with a horizontal pinback, measuring 36.6 mm (w) x 34.2 mm (l), in fine condition. 

3. A Chinese Chairman Mao Commemorative Medal, constructed of bronze, consisting of a eight-pointed star with a leftward-facing effigy of Mao on the obverse, the reverse bearing a depiction of the Chairman Mao Commemorative Hall, measuring 44.4 mm (w) x 49.5 mm (l). Accompanied by its plastic presentation case with a clear lid and solid red base, in better than fine condition.
