In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
This is an airmail envelope that was sent from Lewis G. Wilson (336 Lisbon Avenue, Buffalo, New York) to Mr. Lewis G. Wilson ( Borstelmann & Cia, Pernambuco, Brazil) via Graf Zeppelin LZ 127 airmail across the Atlantic. The envelope also features an outline of the Zeppelin with two other Graf Zeppelin stamps on the obverse. It is numbered “16835” on the obverse and “4674” on the reverse. Measuring 173 mm x 111 mm; unopened, with an originally closed seal, in mint condition without creases or folds and only very minor signs of age.
Footnote: The Graf Zeppelin was a German passenger-carrying airship that was operated commercially from 1928 to 1937. When it entered service in late 1928, it was the first commercial passenger transatlantic flight service in the world. Passengers paid premium fares to fly on-board of the Zeppelin, while others who could not afford the airfare sent airmail.
